The Durban South Baptist Church came into existence on the 20th February 1998 with the amalgamation of the former Congela Baptiste Kerk and the former Emanuel Baptist Church from Manor Gardens. The Lord had brought these two congregations together in an incredible way and the New Church came into being with its own constitution. A church of multi linguistic backgrounds and it soon also became a church of multi cultures.
From that time until the present we have been very conscious of the Lord’s hand of protection and blessing.
